Factoring by GCF
"Hey James do you think you could show Hammond and me how to
factor by GCF."
"Well sure, lets start with this."
Example:
4x^2 - 3x
"Well can either of you see a common multiple of both
of these numbers"?
"No I can't James."
"You incompetent fool you can pull out an x like this."
x(4x-3) "Now the 4 still has an x because it was
squared and the three is now just a constant."
"Now James how do we know that that's right."
"We can check it."
"How?"
